Dogs and cats live closer to the floor than we do and experience a room through a far more sensitive nose. Strong fragrances and harsh chemical residues that people barely register can be a constant presence to them. In a facility that cleans cages, runs, and floors between every guest, that presence repeats all day long. We think the cleaner should disappear once the surface is clean, not linger as a scent or a film.
PHP37 is colorless, odorless, non-flammable, non-corrosive, and water-soluble, and it works at concentrations measured in thousandths of a percent. There is no added fragrance, no bleach, and no lingering chemical odor after cleaning. Those are not slogans: they are the physical properties of the formulation, and they are the reason animal-care facilities are a natural fit for it.
We do not ask facilities to take a safety adjective on faith. A full OECD-protocol toxicology program on the PHP37 formulation was completed through NSF International, and that completed work, together with our registration-first path, is the basis on which we talk about cleaning in rooms where animals live. As registrations are granted, the claims that go with them follow in order. Until then, our products are cleaning products: they are not disinfectants or sanitizers, they are not EPA-registered, and they are for surfaces, never for use on animals.
